Welcome to 2012 and what a year 2011 has been. On sales 2011, we can deliver 104% achievement and 57% growth in the last quarter. I think it was a good achievement for new distributor that joined only three month. It was even better than others distributor achievement in Palembang area, they only deliver around 30% growth in average. But the other side, we still have a challenge for another variable in particular for market return (MR) with a number 1,19%. It was higher than MR Palembang area 0,87%. As we know the higher number of MR will be highlighted by Management Committee (MaCom). So it will be our serious homework for the next year. Please finish it.
As part of our commitment for this year, we should reduce 20% MR versus last year. It mean we must hit 0,85% in average in 2012. Last update from end of January 2012 we achieved our target for MR by reaching 0,45%. I hope we can maintain this achievement till the end of this year.
How about sales in January? Approximately we still have a challenge here, we only reached 90%. Externally the global recession shows how quickly things can change. Crisis in Greece drives global economic to slow growth, include Asia and in particular Indonesia. And it will effect to all of industry such as consumer goods industry that predict will growth less than 10% this year. In addition, the majority of the population with income from rubber. The rainy season will affect the income and changing priorities in buying. they are better buying rice rather than milk and cereals for breakfast.
Internally we agreed last month we had a problem in product (out of stock) but with stock almost 2 Billion in ware house this month and a ton of activities from marketing team, it will give another energy to maximize our sales on this February onward. Lastly I hope we can achieve 20% growth in sales and reduce 20% MR versus last year.
